AIX 2018 robotics module centred on the production of food and beverages in Ghana. Drawing inspiration from the Ghanaian Nestle factory in Tema, I was able to replicate their factory using the Lego EV3 Mindstorms Kit. In this challenge, there were two main components; the production, and delivery lines. On the production line, we had three main sections; tin shop, QA(quality assurance) and filling. At the tin shop, the bottle is wrapped, then moved to quality assurance for checking that the right bottle is on the production line. If the bottle on the production line is not right, it is automatically ejected from the production line. However, if it is right, it is allowed to move on to the filling section where there are two silos filled with different ingredients. In this section, the bottles are filled with their rightful ingredient in the right amount. After production, a truck delivers all the product to their rightful destinations.
