Tech Era organised a three-day boot-camp for 50 high school students from Accra Technical Training Centre (20) and Presbyterian Senior High School (30). I was put in charge of the robotics aspect of the camp which runs for two days. The apportioned time was used to introduce the basics of robotics and the fundamentals of programming using the Lego EV3 Mindstorms. The students were also taught how to use the ultrasonic sensor and colour sensor. After the lessons, students were tasked to follow a line with a colour sensor attached to their robot.
